Aristonis Trochanis holds a B.Sc. Honours degree from the University of Glasgow and a M.Sc. degree from MIT, both in Engineering. He also holds the Professional Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
He has over 25 years of professional experience in Engineering, Project Management, Business Development, Marketing and Sales, in various managerial roles, including that of General Manager in a Marketing Communications organization, for a decade. He has been exposed to a multitude of cultures, by working in various countries including Germany, Russia and the United States, where, amongst other, he served as a member of the team that investigated the Challenger disaster.
Since 2005, he teaches Strategic Marketing and Sales in various postgraduate programs and degrees, administered by the Hellenic Management Association in conjunction with organizations like “The Institute of Sales & Marketing Management”, “The Chartered Institute of Marketing”, etc.
He has attended and passed a multi-level process to become certified as a trainer by Dale Carnegie (core competences). He has been also certified to implement/facilitate the Dale Carnegie courses “Leadership Training for Managers” and “Sales Advantage”.
Being Essential has given him the opportunity to be a facilitator for the Harvard Business Publishing seminars as well as other customized seminars in Sales effectiveness and Customer service. Has worked with organizations like: Athenian Brewery, Media Saturn, Intrasoft international, TNT, Athens International Airport, Eurobank, Mondelez etc.
